The NBA Cup is officially leaving Las Vegas.
The league announced Tuesday the 2026 NBA Cup championship game will take place in Indianapolis.
The title game of the in-season tournament will tip off Dec. 11 at Butler University's Hinkle Fieldhouse. The game will be streamed on Prime Video.

The NBA Cup semifinal and championship games took place in Las Vegas during each of the last three seasons.
The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority sponsored the event with at least $1 million per year over those three seasons, per the Las Vegas Review-Journal's Mick Akers.
The NBA announced last December only the championship game of the next in-season tournament would take place at a neutral site, per Akers.
Hinkle Fieldhouse, the home stadium of Butler University, has a maximum capacity of 9,100 fans.
That's about half of the capacity of Las Vegas' T-Mobile Arena. The New York Knicks won the 2026 NBA Cup over the San Antonio Spurs in front of an announced sell-out crowd of more than 18,600.
The NBA first introduced the NBA Cup during the 2023-24 season, during which LeBron James was named MVP after leading the Los Angeles Lakers to the tournament's inaugural title.
The last two NBA Cup championship games have featured teams that went on to win it all.
The Milwaukee Bucks defeated the eventual champion Oklahoma City Thunder in 2025 before the Knicks made history as the first team to win both the NBA Cup and the championship in the same season.
