James potentially being back in Northeast Ohio, where the Cleveland Cavaliers play, could have nothing to do with his free agency decision, but that isn't going to stop fans from speculating.

James has spent the last eight years with the Los Angeles Lakers, but his future with the team is up in the air. If he doesn't return to the Lakers, the Golden State Warriors appear to be the team to watch, as they're reportedly exploring a reunion between him and Anthony Davis in the Bay Area.

Even if the Cavs aren't the best fit for James, they can't be counted out as a possible landing spot. James started his legendary career in Cleveland, and it would be a storybook ending for him to return home before retiring.
