New Heat Free-Agent Targets Revealed After Giannis Trade in Latest NBA Rumors
The Miami Heat don't have a ton of flexibility to add to the roster around the Giannis Antetokounmpo this offseason, but a few veterans could intrigue them.
According to NBA insiders Marc Stein and Jake Fischer, "League sources say that the Heat will have strong interest in the veteran duo of Tim Hardaway Jr. and Mike Conley Jr." with their "very limited financial flexibility."
Hardaway, 34, averaged 13.5 points and shot 40.7 percent from three for the Denver Nuggets last season, operating as a fantastic sixth man off the bench.
Conley, 38, averaged 4.5 points and 2.9 assists for the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2025-26.
Hardaway would be a solid addition, though it's hard to imagine Conley moving the needle much at this stage in his career. If the Heat don't find a way to add more talent around Giannis and Bam Adebayo, however, they aren't going to be a much better situation than the Greek Freak had in Milwaukee.
