Draymond Green Shares Photo of Yaxel Lendeborg Text Exchange After Warriors' 2026 NBA Draft

Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green and rookie Yaxel Lendeborg are already working to bridge the divide created by their college allegiances.

Green shared a screenshot of a text exchange he had with Lendeborg following the 2026 NBA draft to provide evidence he has contacted the first-round pick:

Green played four years at Michigan State and has maintained close ties with the school following his graduation. Lendeborg played a starring role in Michigan's national championship run this past year.

The rivalry between the Spartans and Wolverines figures to be a running dynamic with the Warriors teammates.

Lendeborg told reporters he was the first to reach out to Green after getting picked by Golden State but hadn't heard back from the veteran forward. It appears that may not have been accurate.
