Warriors Draft Lajae Jones, Watch Highlights of No. 54 Pick in 2026 NBA Draft
Lajae Jones is heading to one of the best organizations in the NBA after a solid year with Florida State last season.
The Golden State Warriors selected the former Seminoles guard with the No. 54 pick in the second round of the NBA draft on Wednesday.
Check out the highlights from the newest Warrior below:
Jones was unranked coming out of high school and started his college career at Tarleton State. He then spent a year at the JUCO level before St. Bonaventure for the 2024-25 campaign, where he started 33 games and got himself on the radar of a handful of Power 4 schools.
He was one of the top transfers in last year's class and chose to take his talents to Florida State. He started all but one game for the Seminoles, putting up 12.7 points and 5.7 boards per game on 42.7 percent from the field and 32.5 percent from deep.
As for how he'll fit into the Warriors' plans, he likely won't see the floor much as a rookie since Golden State has a mostly established roster, but he'll look to make the most of the playing time he gets.
