Nike Celebrates AJ Dybantsa Going to Wizards with No. 1 NBA Draft Pick in Trending Video

Nike is ready for AJ Dybantsa's "monumental" future to start.

After the Washington Wizards selected the BYU star with the No. 1 overall pick in Tuesday's NBA draft, Nike released a video celebrating the top selection that showed highlights of his entire basketball journey:

"Long before the rankings, the attention, before any of that. It starts with one decision to take the craft seriously," the ad said. "That's how you make history. And when the greats decide to do something truly monumental, they do it in D.C."

The Wizards certainly hope Dybantsa becomes a legend and lives up to the hype as he joins a team that already has Anthony Davis and Trae Young.

Given his ability to take over games as a scorer and the openings he should have playing alongside those two established stars, anything less than an impact rookie season would be quite surprising.

And Nike will be there to celebrate along the way.
