Julius Randle's Mindset on Nets Future After Trade From T-Wolves Revealed in New NBA Rumors
On Monday, the Minnesota Timberwolves traded Julius Randle to the Brooklyn Nets in a three-team deal that freed up the cap space to sign forward Ayo Dosunmu to a five-year, $112 million deal.
As for Randle, he's reportedly "excited to join the Nets and wants to be in Brooklyn," according to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.
The move will allow the Timberwolves to start Naz Reid at the 4 and should facilitate a bigger role for Jaden McDaniels, while Randle likely will be the rebuilding Nets' top offensive option. He also has plenty of familiarity with New York City after playing for the Knicks between the 2019-20 and 2023-24 seasons.
