Michael Beasley Reposts Fan Questioning Dwight Howard's Lack of BIG3 Suspension After Scuffle
The BIG3 announced Sunday that both Michael Beasley and Lance Stephenson were each suspended one game for their role in a right during the Miami 305 vs. L.A. Riot on Saturday.
In the aftermath of that decision, Beasley reposted a fan who questioned why Dwight Howard—one of the players involved in the scuffle—didn't also catch a suspension.
Beasley also apologized for his actions.

"I swear I didn't mean for it to go that way," he said on Instagram. "I do gotta apologize. Do I think I was right in how I acted? No. But a reaction stems from an action. I just don't like malicious things. I feel like something was done to me maliciously, and if repercussions are taken, that's on the league."
Beasley also apologized to Ice Cube, CBS, the other players in the league and the fans in his video. Both he and Stephenson were the only two ejected.
The altercation started with Howard and Beasley pushing each other and tying each other up following a basket. Howard, who was boxing out Beasley, held his forearm against Beasley's face. Several players then rushed over and Stephenson aggressively tried to separate Howard from Beasley.
Referees reviewed the incident and ejected both.
Stephenson later performed a headlock takedown on Devin Ebanks and threw a punch at Jordan Crawford.
Miami 305 was forced to forfeit the game since they no longer were able to field the required three players on the court following Stephenson and Beasley's ejections. It wasn't a great look for the first day of the BIG3 season.
