OG Anunoby's GW Tip-In Basketball for Knicks in NBA Finals Game 4 vs. Spurs to Be Sold at Auction
New York Knicks fans who want to own a piece of franchise history will have the opportunity to do so as long as they have a significant amount of cash to win an auction.
As Darren Rovell of CLLCT relayed Saturday, the ball that OG Anunoby tipped in during the final seconds of Game 4 of the NBA Finals to complete his team's astounding comeback and seize a 3-1 lead over the San Antonio Spurs will be sold via auction on June 30:

While Sotheby's did not list an estimated price, Rovell suggested it could go for $3 million.
That is far from the only item Sotheby's is selling from the 2026 NBA Finals. Game-worn jerseys from a number of players, including Jalen Brunson and Victor Wembanyama, are included in a list of items that also features a game-used net and panels from the Madison Square Garden court.
But the Anunoby ball may be the most eye-catching thing for sale given its overall place in NBA and franchise history.
The Knicks overcame a 29-point deficit in that contest for the largest comeback in NBA Finals history. The play essentially swung the series, as all the momentum would have been on the Spurs' side with two straight wins in New York to even the series before Game 5 in San Antonio had they won that game.
Instead, New York built a commanding 3-1 lead and put the finishing touches on the Finals victory with yet another comeback in Game 5.
The Knicks' composure in crunch time proved to be the difference in the series, as the Spurs built a double-digit lead in all five games only to blow those advantages in four of them.
None of those comebacks were as notable as the historic one in Game 4, and now one lucky fan will have the chance to own the famous ball after the Knicks won their first championship in 53 years.
