New Jaylen Brown Trade Rumors on Celtics Star's Stance on Joining Bucks amid Giannis Buzz
The Boston Celtics are reportedly still holding out hope that they can win the sweepstakes for Milwaukee Bucks star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo, but it sounds like one of their top stars would be left unhappy.
During an appearance on SportsCenter on Wednesday, ESPN's Marc J. Spears reported that Celtics star guard Jaylen Brown wouldn't be interested in remaining with the Bucks if he's traded for Antetokounmpo.
"The Celtics, I'm hearing, would love to sneak in and get him. That might mean moving Jaylen Brown to another place," Spears said. "I know Jaylen wouldn't want to play for Milwaukee."

Lakers Likely To Extend Reaves
Brown helped the Celtics win the 2024 NBA championship and emerged as an MVP contender this season while playing most of the year without star forward Jayson Tatum. However, after Boston was eliminated from the playoffs in the first round, the team is looking for something drastic this summer to return to title contention next season.
Trading for Antetokounmpo would certainly accomplish that goal, but the Celtics aren't alone in their pursuit of the two-time NBA MVP. Spears noted that the Miami Heat could have the "best deal" to offer Milwaukee for Antetokounmpo, but he added that the Bucks "don't love the Miami deal."
Giving up Brown could be enough for the Celtics to swoop in and pry Antetokounmpo from the Bucks, but Brown could end up being disgruntled with his new home.
