Knicks' OG Anunoby Reveals He Was Trying to Dunk on GW Tip-In from NBA Finals Game 4 in GMA Video

New York Knicks forward OG Anunoby had an iconic, game-winning tip-in during his team's 29-point comeback over the San Antonio Spurs in Game 4 of the NBA Finals.

But in the aftermath of the team winning the championship in Game 5, Anunoby revealed he had other plans for that moment.

"I mean I was trying to dunk it," he said during a Monday appearance on Good Morning America (4:00 mark). "Trying to dunk it, but couldn't dunk it, so I tried to just touch it, make the shot."

Anunoby added that he couldn't really soak up the moment or dwell on it too much, given the Knicks had to prepare for Game 5. But he certainly can do so now.
