US Open Invites Josh Hart, Knicks to Shinnecock to Watch Golf Major After NBA Title
With the season now in the books, New York Knicks star Josh Hart can finally enjoy some golf.
He got an invite from the U.S. Open on Sunday to attend the event at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club over the weekend after the Knicks' Finals parade.
Hart deserves to kick his feet back and relax with some offseason activities after the effort he put in for the Knicks during their playoff run. He averaged 10.4 points, 8.9 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 1.7 steals per game during the postseason, playing a key role for the Knicks as they took down the San Antonio Spurs.
The U.S. Open begins on Thursday, the same day the Knicks will hold their championship parade in Manhattan. If Hart is ready to unwind after celebrating New York's first title in 53 years, he'll have the chance to watch one of the biggest events in golf in person.
