Karl-Anthony Towns Posts Episode 1 of Behind-the-Scenes Videos from Knicks NBA Finals Run
The New York Knicks just put together one of the best Finals runs in NBA history, and ended with the team's first championship in 53 years.
Knicks star center Karl-Anthony Towns documented the historic run, and he released the first episode of his behind-the-scenes footage on his Instagram on Sunday.
The first episode showed Towns preparing for the first game of the series against the San Antonio Spurs alongside his fiancée, Jordyn Woods. The Knicks took the game in San Antonio before winning Game 2 on the road as well.
New York dropped Game 3 at home before winning Game 4 and becoming champions on Saturday when it won Game 5.
Towns put up 13 points, 10.6 rebounds, 1.4 steals and a block per game during the Finals, playing a vital role for the Knicks as he helped contain Spurs star Victor Wembanyama.
The Knicks' championship run was memorable enough with what happened on the court, but Towns' documentation should give a unique look at what went into bringing a title to New York.
