Spurs' Chances of Beating Knicks in Each of 4 NBA Finals Losses Revealed as NY Defied 238K-to-1 Odds

It's safe to say the odds were stacked against the New York Knicks after falling behind by double digits in each of the five games of the 2026 NBA Finals.

But that didn't stop them from winning the title.

As Michael Mulvihill of Fox illustrated, the Knicks' odds of coming back in all four of their victories was nearly 238,000 to one:

Of all the comebacks, Game 4 was the most shocking.

The San Antonio Spurs built a 29-point lead and still held a 20-point advantage with fewer than 10 minutes remaining. However, the Knicks came charging back and ended up winning with an OG Anunoby tip-in in the final seconds.

Had the Spurs prevented the Knicks from completing the largest comeback in NBA Finals history, the series would have been tied at two games apiece on the way back to San Antonio.

Instead, it was New York left celebrating after a 4-1 victory.
