It's safe to say the world is a different place than the last time the New York Knicks won the NBA championship.

New York clinched the title with Saturday's 94-90 victory over the San Antonio Spurs in Game 5 of the 2026 NBA Finals. It marked the franchise's first championship since 1973, and a lot of things have changed in 53 years.

With things such as the internet now available, Knicks fans have new ways to celebrate that weren't around when Walt Frazier and Willis Reed were champions the last time around in 1973.
