KAT, Knicks Congratulated on 2026 NBA Finals Win By T-Wolves in Trending Photo with Anthony Edwards

The Minnesota Timberwolves put any competitive rivalries aside when they congratulated former star Karl-Anthony Towns on his newly won title.

The team saluted New York while sharing a photo of Towns and star Anthony Edwards embracing after a game:

KAT spent his first nine seasons in Minnesota. During that time, he was the 2015-16 Rookie of the Year, a four-time All-Star and a two-time All-NBA honoree.

Timberwolves fans are bound to have some mixed emotions as they're happy Towns reached the NBA mountaintop but will be disappointed it didn't come in Minneapolis.

His success is also going to bring more retrospectives on his 2024 trade to the Knicks and whether the Wolves made the wrong bet.
