OG Anunoby's Funny Reaction to Drinking in Knicks' Locker Room After Title Win Revealed by Insider
Helping the New York Knicks win their first championship in 53 years calls for a special celebration.
So special, in fact, that even OG Anunoby drank alcohol in the aftermath of Saturday's Game 5 win over the San Antonio Spurs that clinched the title.
Fred Katz of The Athletic reported that Anunoby does not normally drink, but that didn't stop him from trying some tequila in the celebratory mood of the locker room.

"He grabbed the neck of it, lifted it to his mouth, tilted his head back and took a swig, as if he had discovered water after weeks stranded in the desert," Katz wrote. "But this was not water, and his body reacted as such. He started to cough. The tequila poured down his face. He screamed. As he yelped from the burning in his chest, he laughed, uncontrollably."
He went for a second drink, which left him "bent over at the waist" and grabbing his stomach before both he and his teammates started laughing.
"One Mississippi. Two Mississi — and then the coughs came. But these were not the sounds of someone choking. It was the shrill of a baby ostrich breaking a leg. 'AHHEAWWWW!!,' Katz relayed.
It's safe to say Anunoby earned the celebration.
The forward averaged 21.2 points per game in the Finals, but his performance will be remembered most for his winning tip-in that clinched a Game 4 victory. New York overcame a 29-point deficit in that contest, which was the largest comeback win in NBA Finals history.
It was a comeback that paved the way for Anunoby to try some tequila, even if there may have been some immediate regret.
