Knicks' Tyler Kolek Gives Middle Finger in Trending IG Photo After Winning NBA Title
Tyler Kolek wasn't exactly a major contributor to the New York Knicks' title run, but that didn't stop him from turning heads in his celebratory photograph.
Kolek posted a picture of himself giving the middle finger with the Larry O'Brien Trophy and a caption that read "World Champion" following his team's 94-90 victory over the San Antonio Spurs in Saturday's Game 5 of the NBA Finals:
The Marquette product never once saw the court during the NBA Finals, although he scored eight points in the Game 4 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers that clinched a sweep in the Eastern Conference Finals.
In all, he appeared in eight playoff games and averaged 6.6 minutes a night in those contests.
Yet the role player did play 62 times in the regular season with one start and averaged 4.4 points, 2.7 assists and 1.6 rebounds a night while shooting 38.6 percent from deep.
And now he is an NBA champion.
