Fox's general contributions are leading some to wonder whether the Spurs have a $228.6 million problem on their hands:
Fox averaged 12.8 points and 6.0 assists over five games in the Finals and was borderline unplayable thanks to his inefficient shooting (34.3 percent) and lack of defensive value.
Given his massive salary, San Antonio can only hope to avoid a repeat of what happened in the Finals because offloading the two-time All-Star could be easier said than done. Fox is likely to be a part of the team's long-term plans.
