Monica McNutt Clarifies Taylor Swift Hot Mic Comments in Video After Trending Clip From NBA Finals
ESPN analyst Monica McNutt clarified her hot mic comments about Taylor Swift's attendance at Game 4 of the 2026 NBA Finals between the New York Knicks and San Antonio Spurs in a Friday appearance on 105.1 FM's The Breakfast Club.
McNutt could be heard on the radio broadcast of Game 4 saying, "Is that Taylor Swift? She's not a Knicks fan. Get out of here, girl."
"I know the celebrities that are there consistently," McNutt said Friday. "I may have misspoke on her loyalties, but I have not seen her all season or the last season."

Knicks Player's Warning to Wemby

Who's really to blame for Spurs' collapse?
McNutt added: "You know how we say 'Get out of here, girl.' Not literally. Girl, welcome, you're a star."
McNutt also questioned why Swift wasn't wearing New York gear while attending Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Cleveland Cavaliers with her fiancé, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
In previous comments made to TMZ Sports, McNutt said she felt she "misspoke" by saying Swift wasn't a Knicks fan after learning she owned an Amar'e Stoudemire Knicks jersey.
McNutt also named Ben Stiller and Spike Lee as celebrities she had consistently seen at Knicks games when speaking with TMZ Sports.
With Swift on the sideline, the Knicks completed the largest comeback in NBA history by erasing a 29-point deficit and claiming a 107-106 Game 4 win over the Spurs.
The Knicks will now head back to Texas one win away from a title when Game 5 tips off Saturday night in San Antonio.
