NBA Finals 2026 Knicks vs. Spurs Game 5 Odds, Prop Bets, Bracket Predictions

Zach BuckleyJun 11, 2026

One word is all you need to accurately sum up Game 4 of the 2026 NBA Finals: Epic.

That's the best description of the game itself, the New York Knicks' historic comeback and the San Antonio Spurs' self-destruction. It was chaos. It was inexplicable, both in the moment and after a night of what-the-heck-did-I-just-watch reflection.

It was playoff basketball at its absolute best. (Or absolute worst for the Alamo City faithful.)

The Knicks, who infamously haven't secured the NBA crown since 1973, now sit just one win shy of a celebration for the ages. And they'll have as many as three chances to deliver it, though they'd obviously prefer to ether this series as soon as possible and not give the Spurs any inkling of hope about authoring their own escape act.

With the series shifting back to San Antonio for Saturday's Game 5, let's dig into the odds and prop wagers before finishing with a prediction of how this all wraps up.

OG Anunoby to score 20+ points: +116

It's entirely possible that, if the Knicks win, Game 5 could seal Finals MVP honors for Anunoby. And while his offensive output doesn't always reflect his impact, he has poured in 61 total points over the last two outings, shooting 19-of-28 overall and 10-of-16 from three. Throw in the momentum boost from his late-game heroics, and this feels like a lock.

Josh Hart to dish 6+ assists: +154

If Hart doesn't have an endorsement deal with Elmer's yet, his representatives are doing it wrong. He's the ultimate glue guy, fully embracing grunt-work duties whenever needed and often trading statistical glory for team success. His connective passing is a great gear-turner for this offense, and he should have a real shot at reaching six-plus assists for the third time this series.

Victor Wembanyama to grab 12+ rebounds: -106

With shooters to pull him away from the basket and big bodies to pester him around the hoop, the Knicks have done a decent job of containing Wembanyama as a rebounder (10.5 per game). Still, his urgency and activity should be at all-time highs given Saturday's stakes, so you'd think a tremendous 7'4" talent could find his way to at least a dozen boards.

Prediction: Knicks in 5

3 of 3
2026 NBA Finals - San Antonio Spurs v New York Knicks

With a raucous home crowd behind them, the Spurs should be rearing to get going Saturday in hopes of getting this awful taste out of their mouths. But fumbling a lead in that fashion feels like the kind of gut punch that would floor even world-class heavyweights.

"I don't know about the emotions, but it was painful, of course," Wembanyama told reporters. "It just feels like we worked too hard and give up our leads. It just hurts."

The young Spurs might be packing a lifetime full of life lessons into this series. The primary discovery: Take nothing for granted. San Antonio has led by double-digits every game of this series and still sits trapped in a 3-1 hole—a deficit that 37 of the 38 previous Finals participants to face it couldn't overcome.

New York not only has a wealth of experience on its side, it also has the necessary urgency that comes along with it. Not to mention, this roster is absolutely stacked with talent. This team trusts each other and trusts its first-year coach Mike Brown. It understands what it wants to do in big moments and knows how to do it.

And, clearly, it never gives up no matter how long the odds appear.

Saturday night should be a slugfest, but it's hard to trust these young Spurs to close and maybe more difficult to doubt these established Knicks to finish the job.
