Knicks Courtside Celeb Row Seats for NBA Finals G3 vs. Spurs at MSG Sell For Wild Amount in Auction
A pair of courtside seats for Monday's Game 3 of the NBA Finals at Madison Square Garden sold for $550,000 during a charity auction.
Proceeds from the auction are going to The Garden of Dreams Foundation, which "works with 30 partner organizations throughout the tri-state area, including hospitals, wish organizations, and community-based organizations, to reach children who are facing challenges such as homelessness, extreme poverty, illness, and foster care."
Whoever won the bidding will likely be sitting near quite the gala of celebrities. Spike Lee, Tracy Morgan, Timothée Chalamet, Ben Stiller and Fat Joe have been among the famous faces routinely attending the team's games during their run to the NBA Finals.
Stiller and Fat Joe were even at the team's practice on Sunday.
"A great day for me today," head coach Mike Brown told reporters. "For the first time I got a chance to meet Stiller. I don't know if he's in here or not. I actually gave him a handshake and a hug. I got my man Fat Joe sitting in the back. This is a great day for Mike Brown."
