Curry responded to the video of Neus' incredible shot within 10 minutes of receiving it, according to Warriors Senior Vice President of Communications Raymond Ridder:
Neus, who has Down syndrome, told Chris Alvarez of ABC that he's been a fan of Curry "since I was a baby." He and his parents thanked Curry for the kind gesture.
"It's just shocking. I would just say just, you know, see how many people come in and love to see something so cool and natural and really just the community coming together," Brooke Neus said. "For Steph to take the time out of his day and to look at that is just, I never thought it would become anything like this. We thought it was a cool video that, you know, just like that. Hard to believe that we could maybe lighten other people's hearts, but this has taken a new life of its own, and we're so lucky."
