LeBron James Gifts Nelly Korda Custom Nike Golf Shoes in Trending Photos Ahead of U.S. Women's Open

Few people know what it is like to chase titles in Los Angeles better than LeBron James, and the King gifted LPGA star Nelly Korda some custom golf shoes as she chases her own major title in Southern California.

Ahead of the start of the U.S. Women's Open at Riviera Country Club near Los Angeles, Korda received quite the pair of custom Nikes from James:

James made no secret about his love for golf during the Los Angeles Lakers' 2025-26 campaign, and he has publicly supported Korda multiple times in the past:

With his support, Korda will look to continue what has been an incredible season with the year's second major championship up for grabs. Korda has three wins, three second-place finishes and a tie for eighth place in seven events this year and is widely expected to be among the leaders on Sunday.

Yet she will have to overcome some recent struggles at the U.S. Open considering she missed the cut three times from 2020 through 2024 and then just missed the title last year with a tie for second place.

"It made me hungrier to be in those positions," Korda said after the runner-up finish, per ESPN's Paolo Uggetti. "It was just like, there's no better place to be in than in the hunt on a back nine on Sunday at a major championship, especially at the Women's Open. It would have been a lifelong dream [to win], but there's more chances."

The next chance will arrive this weekend, and she will have custom James-delivered shoes to help her along the way.
