French Open 2026 Results, Day 11 Bracket Winners, Losers, Highlights & Day 12 Roland-Garros Schedule

Nicholas NathansonJun 3, 2026

Just how crazy has the 2026 French Open been?

Consider this: It is the first major since the 1977 French Open without a former men's or women's major champion in the semifinal round.

No. 10 seed Flavio Cobolli defeated Felix Auger-Aliassime in four sets to set up an all-Italian semifinal showdown with Matteo Arnaldi.

Arnaldi advanced after Matteo Berrettini was forced to retire due to a hip injury in the second set.

The women's draw experienced the biggest upset of the tournament as Diana Shnaider stunned world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka in three sets.

Maja Chwalinska defeated Anna Kalinskaya in straight sets, becoming the second women's qualifier in the Open Era to reach the French Open semifinal.

From top takeaways to tomorrow's schedule, everything you need is below.

Men's Results and Upcoming Schedule

1 of 2
B/R

No. 10 Flavio Cobolli def. No. 4 Felix Auger-Aliassime, 4-6, 6-4, 6-4, 6-4

Matteo Arnaldi def. Matteo Berrettini, 7-5, 5-2 (ret.)

Flavio Cobolli defeated Felix Auger-Aliassime in four sets to reach his maiden major semifinal.

The No. 10 seed struggled to find his form in the first set, hitting just 4 winners compared to 16 unforced errors.

Cobolli adjusted in the second set and used his heavy forehand to navigate trouble.

From that point on, the Italian maintained a balanced game plan, while Auger-Alassime appeared to lose his top form.

In the final match on Court Phillipe-Chatrier, Matteo Arnaldi defeated Matteo Berretinni, who was forced to retire in the second set due to a hip injury.

Arnaldi entered the quarterfinals after spending nearly 18 hours on court, and it showed early as he fell behind 0-3.

However, he suddenly found his energy and rallied around his defensive play and Berrettini's unexpectedly inconsistent forehand to win the first set.

Berrettini continued to struggle in the second set before a hip injury ultimately hindered his ability to continue the match.

Semifinal action will take place Friday on TNT & truTV, while all matches can be streamed on HBO Max.

Below, you can find Friday's schedule.

Time: TBD

Flavio Cobolli (10) vs. Matteo Arnaldi

Time: TBD

Jakub Mensik (26) vs. Alexander Zverev (2)

Match of the Day: Jakub Mensik (26) vs. Alexander Zverev (2)

Two wins separate Alexander Zverev from his first Grand Slam title.

The world No. 3 has been sensational en route to the semifinal, playing arguably his most aggressive-yet-consistent baseline tennis ever.

Furthermore, he's had excellent placement on his first serve, setting him up for the attack right away.

However, Jakub Mensik has also been nearly as impressive.

The 20-year-old Czech enters the semifinal on the heels of a dominant straight-set win over Joao Fonseca.

Mensik was dominant on first serve, while his athleticism and net play were stellar.

Given what Zverev just accomplished against 19-year-old Rafael Jodar, he'll enter as the well-deserved favorite.

That being said, if Mensik performs like he did in the quarterfinal, the match has the potential to be a four or five-set thriller.

Prediction: No. 2 Alexander Zverev def. No. 26 Jakub Mensik in 4 sets

Women's Results and Upcoming Schedule

2 of 2

No. 25 Diana Shnaider def. No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka, 3-6, 7-5, 6-0

Maja Chwalinska def. No. 22 Anna Kalinskaya, 7-6 (3), 6-3

22-year-old Diana Shnaider pulled off the most improbable victory of the tournament, defeating Aryna Sabalenka in three sets to reach her maiden major semifinal.

The match looked like it would be over in less than 90 minutes as Shnaider trailed by a set and multiple service breaks.

Then, suddenly, everything shifted.

After winning four consecutive games to take the second set, Shnaider gained all the momentum.

Then, in the third set, Shnaider took over, winning 6-0.

Sabalenka's baseline aggression had been so dominant all tournament.

But on Tuesday, the world No. 1 committed 57 unforced errors, compared to Shnaider's 27.

In the other women's quarterfinal match, Maja Chwalinska defeated Anna Kalinskaya in straight sets to become the second women's qualifier in the Open Era to reach the French Open semifinal.

The 24-year-old navigated Kalinskaya's aggression with relentless defense, forcing her to play ball after ball.

Women's semifinal play will take place on Thursday with times listed below.

9 a.m. ET

Marta Kostyuk (15) vs. Mirra Andreeva (8)

10:30 a.m. ET

Diana Shnaider (25) vs. Maja Chwalinska

*Predicted winner in bold

Match of the Day: Marta Kostyuk (15) vs. Mirra Andreeva (8)

Marta Kostyuk has been utterly dominant on the clay surface this year.

The 23-year-old is 16-0 on clay this season and has defeated the likes of four-time French Open champion Iga Swiatek and No. 7 Elina Svitolina to reach this point.

Meanwhile, Mirra Andreeva is looking to earn her revenge after falling to Kostyuk in the 2026 Madrid Open final.

The 19-year-old has also played a flawless tournament, coming off a quarterfinal win over Sorona Cirstea, where she lost just three games.

While Andreeva is a difficult opponent with her ability to redirect shots and overall consistency, Kostyuk is performing on another level right now.

Prediction: No. 15 Marta Kostyuk def. No. 8 Mirra Andreeva in 3 sets
