No. 4 seed Felix Auger-Aliassime defeated Alejandro Tabilo in straight sets to reach his first French Open quarterfinal.
The top-ranked Canadian has now reached the quarterfinal round at every Grand Slam.
In the women's draw, Aryna Sabalenka bested Naomi Osaka in a matchup of four-time major champions, while Diana Shnaider defeated Madison Keys in three sets.

In the final match of the day, Matteo Arnaldi launched a furious comeback against Frances Tiafoe to reach his first career Grand Slam quarterfinal.
Arnaldi trailed by a set and service break but rallied around his relentless defense to force a fifth set.
In the decisive set, both players had their fair share of stellar shots, but it was Arnaldi's defense that was able to will him to the finish line
No. 4 seed Felix Auger-Aliassime defeated Alejandro Tabilo in straight sets to reach his maiden French Open quarterfinal.
The 25-year-old was dominant on serve and excelled at the net, where he won 19 of 24 points.
In other men's action, Flavio Cobolli advanced with a four-set victory over world No. 85 Zachary Svajda.
Matteo Berrettini, stayed in torrid form with a straight-set win over Juan Manuel Cerundolo.
The 30-year-old won 84 percent of first serve points and sprayed 51 winners past the Argentinian.
Quarterfinal action begins tomorrow on TNT, which will broadcast live from Roland-Garros starting at 5 a.m. ET.

After coming back from two sets down to defeat 24-time major champion Novak Djokovic, the Brazilian wunderkind then won against two-time French Open finalist Casper Ruud in four sets.
Fonseca is playing with remarkable confidence, skillfully utilizing his powerful serve and deadly forehand to overcome any uncertainty.
Jakub Mensik, meanwhile, enters off the heels of a five-set win over Andrey Rublev, despite holding a two-set lead.
Fonseca has the slightest edge with his current form, but Mensik has nearly as much baseline firepower and can win this match.
The match has the makings of a five-set thriller, which Fonseca is expected to persevere in.

The four-time major champion was absolutely dominant on serve, hitting 12 aces.
Sabalenka stuck to her aggressive gameplan and was stellar at the net, winning 10 of 11 points.
In other action, Diana Shnaider defeated Madison Keys in three sets.
Keys won the second set to even up the match but struggled tremendously in the third set, losing 6-0 while committing 19 unforced errors.
Meanwhile, Anna Kalinskaya defeated Anastasia Potapova in a three-set thriller.
The No. 22 seed will face qualifier Maja Chwalinska in the quarterfinal round.
Chwalinska, the world No. 114, defeated Diane Parry in straight sets and has dropped just one set all tournament.
