Knicks, Spurs' New NBA Finals USA Jersey Patches Revealed Ahead of Trading Cards Release

Topps revealed Monday the "USA 250" patches that will be worn on the jerseys of each player on the New York Knicks and San Antonio Spurs during the 2026 NBA Finals.

The patches will be removed from the jerseys after each game for potential use in "ultra-rare trading cards," per Topps.

It has become commonplace for Topps to utilize special patches in their cards. The most popular example is the debut patch worn by MLB rookies in their first game before being removed and placed in one-of-one autographed rookie cards.

The USA 250 patches that will be worn during the NBA Finals are a nod to this summer's celebration of the United States' 250th anniversary of independence.
