
Spurs' Victor Wembanyama Named 2026 Western Conference Finals MVP, Full Voting Results
Victor Wembanyama was named MVP of the 2026 Western Conference Finals after the San Antonio Spurs took down the Oklahoma City Thunder by the final score of 111-103 in Game 7 on Saturday.
Wembanyama ended Game 7 of the series with averages of 27.3 points, 10.9 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 2.7 blocks per game. He shot 48.1 percent from the field and 40.0 percent from three-point territory against Oklahoma City.
In Saturday's contest, Wembanyama scored 22 points on 7-of-15 shooting. The two-time All-Star grabbed seven rebounds and blocked one shot as well.
Wembanyama put together several impressive performances throughout the conference finals, starting with a Game 1 victory in which he amassed 41 points and 24 rebounds.
He went on to record 21 points and 17 rebounds in Game 2 along with 26 points in Game 3, although the Spurs lost both contests and faced a 2-1 series deficit.
Wembanyama bounced back with 33 points on 11-of-22 shooting in San Antonio's Game 4 victory at home.
While he only connected on 26.7 percent of his shot attempts during a Game 5 defeat, he followed it up with a 28-point performance as the Spurs kept their season alive in Game 6.
Now, San Antonio will move on to face the New York Knicks in the NBA Finals.
