Giannis Makes 2026 NBA Finals Pick in Video as Knicks Await Winner of Spurs vs. Thunder

Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo doesn't need to see who's coming out of the Western Conference before he's ready to back the New York Knicks in the NBA Finals.

Asked to handicap the series, the two-time MVP picked the Knicks and pointed to their ongoing winning streak along with what will be raucous crowds at Madison Square Garden:

New York is awaiting the winner of the West with the Oklahoma City Thunder and San Antonio Spurs going the distance. A conference champion will be crowned Saturday in Game 7.

Regardless of the outcome, the Knicks could be the underdogs despite how easily they breezed past the Philadelphia 76ers and Cleveland Cavaliers in the last two rounds.

The Thunder and Spurs were both better teams in the regular season, and backup center Mitchell Robinson will reportedly be playing for New York with a surgically repaired right pinkie finger.

Antetokounmpo could prove to be in the minority with his Finals forecast.
