Evolution of Knicks' Courtside NBA Finals Ticket Prices Since 1994 Spotlighted in Trending Post
New York Knicks fans who sat courtside for NBA Finals games in 1994 and 1999 will have to be prepared to shell out significantly more cash in order to do so this time around.
In a post Friday on X, Darren Rovell broke down the rising cost of courtside seats at Madison Square Garden for the Knicks' past three Finals appearances:
Those tickets could be purchased for $550 in 1994 and $2,700 in 1999, but they now cost a whopping $25,000 in 2026.
The Knicks lost to the Houston Rockets in 1994 and the San Antonio Spurs in 1999 in their two most recent Finals appearances, and they have not won a championship since 1973.
New York will look to end that drought this year after sweeping the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference Finals.
The Knicks still await their NBA Finals opponent, and it will be either the Spurs or the Oklahoma City Thunder depending on how Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals plays out on Saturday.
