NBA Awards Voting Results & Ballots for MVP, ROY and All 2025-26 Honors Revealed
The 2025-26 NBA awards have all been announced after Boston Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla was named Coach of the Year on Tuesday.
Here's a look at how voting went for MVP, Rookie of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year and more.
MVP: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
Rookie of the Year: Cooper Flagg
Defensive Player of the Year: Victor Wembanyama
Sixth Man of the Year: Keldon Johnson
Coach of the Year: Joe Mazzulla
All-NBA
All-Rookie
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was the runaway winner for MVP after a tremendous season that saw him put up 31.1 points and 6.6 assists per game while leading the Thunder to the best record in the league.
The Rookie of the Year race was close as former Duke teammates Cooper Flagg and Kon Knueppel battled it out, but Flagg ended up taking home the coveted award. It's clear that both players are on their way to being stars.
Victor Wembanyama came up short in the MVP race, but was the NBA's first unanimous Defensive Player of the Year after he led the league in blocks for a third consecutive season.
His teammate, Keldon Johnson, took home Sixth Man of the Year while helping lead the Spurs to their best season in a decade.
The Celtics weren't viewed as much of a contender with Jayson Tatum out of their picture for most of the season, but Joe Mazzulla not only kept Boston relevant but guided the team to the No. 2 seed.
Mazzulla may think it's a "stupid award," but he ultimately became the fourth Celtics coach to win it and the first since 1980.
