It's worth noting that the Cavs are 6-1 in home playoff games during their current postseason run.
They won all four contests in Cleveland during a first-round win over the Toronto Raptors in seven games.
The Cavs similarly faced a 2-0 series deficit to begin their second-round clash with the Detroit Pistons, but responded by winning each of their next two home games.
While Cleveland couldn't secure a Game 6 victory over Detroit at home while holding a 3-2 series lead, the team won Game 7 on the road to advance to the conference finals.
The Cavs will attempt another series comeback against the Knicks after they blew a 22-point lead in the fourth quarter of Game 1 before losing in overtime.
Cleveland kept pace with New York throughout the first half of Thursday's matchup, but the Knicks broke the game open with an 18-0 run with the score tied at 53 in the third quarter.
The Cavs are looking to make their first NBA Finals appearance since 2018.
