LeBron James Announced for Fanatics Fest with Tyrese Haliburton, Full Schedule for Live Podcast
The King is coming to Fanatics Fest this summer.
Fanatics announced Wednesday that LeBron James will be in attendance during Fanatics Fest in New York City on July 16 and 17. James will record a live episode of his Mind the Game podcast with Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton joining him as a guest co-host.
The timing of the live taping of the podcast is particularly notable for NBA fans since it comes after the opening of the offseason's free agency.
James' future is one of the league's biggest storylines heading into the offseason, as his contract with the Los Angeles Lakers ran through just the 2025-26 campaign. Perhaps he will return to Los Angeles and pursue a championship alongside Luka Dončić, or perhaps he will look to sign elsewhere for what could be the final season of his career.
Joining the Cleveland Cavaliers would be something of a full-circle moment for the future Hall of Famer seeing how that is the team that drafted him and the one many fans like most closely associate him with in the league.
Of course, James is also 41 years old with 23 NBA seasons under his belt. It wouldn't be shocking if he retired this offseason and hung up the sneakers after one of the most legendary careers in sports history.
If he has made a decision by the Fanatics Fest, he will surely open up about his overall thought process and reflect back on what went into it. If he hasn't, it will be an opportunity to directly talk to fans about the factors he is weighing as he evaluates his future.
Co-hosting with Haliburton will also give the Pacers star the chance to update fans on his recovery process as he looks to return from the Achilles injury he suffered in Game 7 of the 2025 NBA Finals.
This year's Fanatics Fest, which brings together athletes, brands and fans, will run from July 16-19 at the Javits Center in New York City.
