Victor Wembanyama 1-of-1 Autographed Card to Feature Piece of Net from Historic NBA Playoff Win
San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama's historic performance in Monday's Game 1 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Western Conference Finals has been memorialized in a unique way.
Topps announced that a piece of the game-used net from Wembanyama's 41-point, 24-rebound outing will be included inside a one-of-one autographed trading card.
At 22 years and 134 days old, Wembanyama became the youngest player in NBA history to record at least 40 points and 20 rebounds in a playoff game. He helped the Spurs take a 1-0 series lead with a 122-115 road victory in double overtime.
Wembanyama is clearly motivated to help lead San Antonio to its first NBA Finals appearance since 2014, so it's safe to say that he could have a few more historic performances left in him.
Wembanyama and the Spurs will try to keep the momentum going when they face the Thunder in Game 2 in Oklahoma City on Wednesday night.
