
Wemby, Spurs vs. Zion, Pelicans Paris & Manchester Games Revealed in New Video for 2027 NBA Schedule
Victor Wembanyama is headed back to his home country of France for a regular-season game next January.
Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs are set to play Zion Williamson and the New Orleans Pelicans in Paris on Jan. 14, 2027, the NBA announced Wednesday.
That will be followed on Jan. 17, 2027 by a game between the Spurs and Pelicans in Manchester, England.

This won't be the first time Wembanyama sees NBA action in Paris. He and the Spurs also traveled to the city for two regular-season matchups against the Indiana Pacers in January 2025.
The NBA's international slate during the 2025-26 season featured games in Berlin, London and Mexico City.
The league's return to Paris will mark the sixth regular-season NBA game to take place in the city, according to the NBA.
The game in England will mark the first regular-season NBA game to take place in Manchester.
The Pelicans have played two prior games in Europe, while the Spurs have competed in nine contests on the continent.
The NBA originally announced plans to play in Paris and Manchester in 2027 as part of a six Europe games announced in July 2025. The league also pledged to return to Paris and Berlin in 2028.
The ongoing expansion of the NBA's international slate comes as team owners continue discussing potential expansion into a separate European league.
Multiple investors offered at least $1 billion to join NBA Europe when the first round of bidding closed in early April, per Sportico's Kurt Badenhausen and Scott Soshnick.
NBA Europe managing director George Aivazoglou said in a statement the Spurs and Pelicans' upcoming international schedule "reflects the strong momentum we're seeing for basketball and the NBA in France, the UK and across Europe."
NBA insider Marc Stein recently reported the league "continues to target the 2027-28 season" as a potential NBA Europe launch date. The European league would be expected to have 12 to 16 teams, according to Stein.
Paris could be playing host to one of these NBA Europe teams shortly after hosting the Spurs and Pelicans.
French newspaper L'Equipe reported in March that Qatar Sports Investments, which owns Paris Saint-Germain FC, were expected to place a bid for a franchise. Badenhausen and Soshnick reported in April the PSG owners didn't make an offer by the first-round deadline but are still expected to eventually join the bidding.
