Michael Beasley to Play for KSU's Purple Reign in 2026 TBT, Tournament Features $2M in Prize Money

Former NBA player Michael Beasley will play for Kansas State's Purple Reign at this year's TBT in July, the tournament announced Tuesday.

Beasley, 37, spent one season at Kansas State before being drafted into the NBA. His professional career lasted 11 years and included stops with the Miami Heat, Minnesota Timberwolves, Phoenix Suns, Houston Rockets, Milwaukee Bucks, New York Knicks and Los Angeles Lakers.

In all he averaged 12.4 points and 4.7 rebounds per game for his career. He's also played overseas and is the back-to-back MVP in BIG3 and won last season's title with Miami 305.

Now, he'll be hoping to capture TBT's $2 million prize with his alma mater.
