T-Wolves Listened to Drake's 'Iceman' Before Loss to Spurs in Game 6 of NBA Playoffs

Despite drawing inspiration from Drake's new Iceman album on Friday, the Minnesota Timberwolves were eliminated by the San Antonio Spurs in the second round of the 2026 NBA playoffs.

During an appearance Friday on SportsCenter before Game 6, ESPN's Myron Medcalf said, "[The T-Wolves] were bumping Drake's Iceman album before practice, and they don't think they're going to freeze tonight."

Minnesota was outmatched from start to finish in Friday's Game 6, though, as the Spurs led by 13 points at halftime and built on that advantage during the second half, winning 139-109 to advance to the Western Conference Finals against the reigning NBA champion Oklahoma City Thunder.
