
NBA Playoff Bracket 2026, Updated Picture, Schedule After May 8
The second round of the 2026 NBA playoffs contained a pair of Game 3 matchups on Friday night.
First, the New York Knicks secured a 108-94 win over the Philadelphia 76ers to take a commanding 3-0 series lead. The San Antonio Spurs and Minnesota Timberwolves are also set to face off with their series tied 1-1.

Friday Highlights
Knicks 108, 76ers 94
Philadelphia opened the game on a 9-0 run, although New York quickly responded with an 8-2 run of its own.
The 76ers still kept the Knicks at bay for the remainder of the first quarter, taking a 31-27 lead into the second.
New York got on track offensively once the second quarter started, going on a 22-9 run to begin the period.
The Knicks took their first double-digit lead with four minutes left in the first half and eventually held a 60-52 edge at halftime.
Philadelphia responded midway through the third quarter, cutting the deficit to four points multiple times.
The Knicks were able to push their lead back to nine before the period came to a close, though.
The 76ers started the fourth quarter on a high note and only trailed 88-84 with just under nine minutes left in the game, but New York gained some more breathing room with an 11-2 run.
Philadelphia was never able to recover, as the Knicks emerged victorious.
Jalen Brunson finished with a game-high 33 points in the win, shooting 11-of-22 from the field and 3-of-8 from behind the arc. Brunson also dished out nine assists and grabbed five rebounds.
Mikal Bridges chipped in with 23 points on 8-of-14 shooting for the Knicks as well.
