Tucker, known for his colorful sneakers, will retire from the NBA having played 886 regular-season games and 105 playoff contests for eight teams over 14 seasons.

Originally drafted by the Toronto Raptors in the second round of the 2006 draft, Tucker appeared in 17 games of his rookie season before spending the five years playing internationally.

After playing in Israel, Ukraine, Greece, Italy and Germany, Tucker signed a deal with the Phoenix Suns to return to the NBA in 2012.

Tucker went on to spend the next four and half seasons with the Suns, starting a career as an NBA journeyman that saw him serve as a key role player for multiple playoff runs with the Houston Rockets.

That included a tenacious performance for the Rockets in Game 7 of the 2018 Western Conference Finals, during which he contributed 14 points while defending Kevin Durant.

He joined the Bucks midway through the 2020-21 season and went on to appear in all 23 postseason games with 19 starts for Milwaukee while helping Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton win a title.

Tucker also served as a crucial role player during the Miami Heat's run to the 2022 Eastern Conference finals and the 2023 Philadelphia 76ers' journey to the second round.

He closed out his career by appearing in three games for the Knicks during the 2024-25 campaign. He had his second-year team option declined by the Knicks ahead of this season.

Tucker will retire from the NBA having made an estimated $90.6 million over 14 years, per Spotrac.
