76ers' Kelly Oubre Jr. Explains Why Jalen Brunson's 'Big Head' Makes Knicks Star Hard to Guard
The Philadelphia 76ers' Kelly Oubre Jr. said Jalen Brunson's braids and "big head" made him hard to guard as the Sixers opened the second round with a Monday night Game 1 loss to the New York Knicks.
"It's definitely tough to guard with his head doing all that," Oubre said Tuesday while shaking his head from side to side.
Oubre added he felt defenders could get whipped by Brunson's braids while guarding him, per The Philly Voice's Adam Aaronson.

Knicks guard Josh Hart said Tuesday he had "never noticed" Brunson's braids getting in the way against opponents.
"Trust me, if I did, I probably would have copied the same hairstyle. Maybe I would've gotten a couple more buckets, or something like that," Hart said.
When asked about Oubre's comment on the size of Brunson's head, Hart joked, "I felt like that was something that was very well documented, so I don't think that was any shocker when he said that one."
Brunson spent most of Game 1 matched up on defense with Oubre, VJ Edgecombe or Quentin Grimes.
None of those players could stop Brunson from racking up 35 points in just 31 minutes of the Knicks' 137-98 victory.
Brunson finished the game having shot 12-for-18 from the field, 3-for-6 from deep and 8-for-8 from the foul line.
The Sixers will need to find a more effective way to limit Brunson in order to even the series when Game 2 tips off Wednesday night at 7 p.m. ET in Madison Square Garden.
