Scott Foster Among Refs Selected for 2026 NBA Playoffs Conference Semifinals
The officials for the 2026 NBA Playoffs conference semifinals are set.
The NBA announced the group on Monday. It's highlighted by a number of veterans like Scott Foster, Tony Brothers and others who have plenty of experience calling games in the postseason.
This year's conference semifinals should be good after an exciting first round.
In the East, the top-seeded Detroit Pistons will take on the No. 4 Cleveland Cavaliers. Both teams went to seven games with their first-round foes, as Detroit outlasted No. 8 Orlando while the Cavs downed the No. 5-seeded Raptors.
The No. 3 New York Knicks have emerged as favorites to make it out of the East after downing the Atlanta Hawks, but the No. 7 Philadelphia 76ers are hoping to keep their run going after beating the Boston Celtics in Round 1.
Out West, the No. 1 Oklahoma City Thunder will face the No. 4 Los Angeles Lakers. OKC swept Phoenix in the first round while the Lakers beat the Rockets in six games.
The No. 2 San Antonio Spurs looked promising in their 4-1 win over Portland, but they'll have their work cut out for them against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
