Mitchell, Cavs Beat Raptors to Advance in NBA Playoffs as Fans React to Jarrett Allen's Big Game 7

Donovan Mitchell and Jarrett Allen powered the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 114-102 Game 7 win over the Toronto Raptors on an eventful Sunday.

Mitchell and Allen each scored 22 points in the home victory as Cleveland reached the second round for the third time in three years.

In addition to 22 points, leading the Cavs, Allen added 19 rebounds on a double-double, two steals and three blocks.ย 

Mitchell added three rebounds, while James Harden finished with 18 points, six rebounds and three steals. Max Strus provided a spark off the bench with 12 points, eight rebounds, five assists and two steals.

Toronto's Scottie Barnes led the team with 24 points, nine rebounds and six assists, while RJ Barrett added 23 points, six assists and three steals in the loss.

Home-court advantage defined the series between Toronto and Cleveland.

Cleveland opened with two home wins behind back-to-back 30+-point performances from Mitchell. Toronto answered with two wins on its home floor, powered by dominant outings from Barnes.

With the series tied 2-2, Cleveland returned home and secured a five-point victory. Facing elimination at home, Toronto pushed Game 6 to overtime, pulling off the two-point win to force a Game 7.
