Dallas Mavericks forward Cooper Flagg served as the honorary pace car driver on Sunday at the NASCAR Cup Series' Wurth 400 at the Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth.

Flagg spoke with reporters before the race and spoke about how his family was really into NASCAR, with his mother, Kelly, loving Tony Stewart in particular.
Flagg, the No. 1 pick in the 2025 NBA draft, was the league's Rookie of the Year this season. In 70 starts, the former Duke star averaged 21.0 points on 46.8 percent shooting, 6.7 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.2 steals.
