Rudy Gobert Makes Hilarious Victor Wembanyama, Anthony Edwards Comparison in Trending Video
The Minnesota Timberwolves and San Antonio Spurs will square off in the Western Conference semifinals, and it will feature a battle of French big men in Minnesota's Rudy Gobert and San Antonio's Victor Wembanyama.
Dane Moore, who covered the Timberwolves, asked Gobert what surprised him about Wembanyama the most, and replied with an answer touching on the reigning Defensive Player of the Year's search for a new water filter.
Anthony Edwards, Gobert noted rather humorously, has yet to broach that topic with him or discuss his diet:
Edwards once told GQ in an interview that he ate three bags of Chester's Hot Fries per day. This was over three years ago, though. He also had a love for Popeye's that got ESPN analysts talking. In addition, Edwards once ordered McDonald's during a postgame press conference.
There hasn't been talk about Edwards' diet lately, though. He just enjoyed a great season, averaging a career-high 28.8 points per game.
Edwards is currently rehabbing a hyperextended left knee and bone bruise that's expected to keep him out for the beginning of the series, which begins on Monday at 9:30 p.m. ET.
