'Literally Incredible' LeBron James Hyped by Austin Reaves After Lakers Advance in NBA Playoffs
Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James, playing in his 23rd NBA season, posted 28 points, eight assists and seven rebounds in his team's 98-78 road win over the Houston Rockets on Saturday, clinching a six-game first round series victory.
Like plenty of fans who were left in awe, Lakers guard Austin Reaves told Dan Woike of The Athletic that anything he accomplishes in the NBA will rank lower than being James' teammate.
"Top of the list," Reaves told Woike.

"… After the game I came over and I was like, 'You're literally incredible.' Like, this isn't me like, I've never asked him for anything. I've never … I just said, 'Thank you.' I want our relationship to be genuine and I told him like, real s--t, thanks for letting me be a part of this.
"'Cause it's like every single night it's something new and he's literally incredible."
On Friday, James outscored the Rockets in the second quarter by himself, 14-13, en route to a comfortable victory that saw the Lakers lead Houston by double digits for the entire first half.
James averaged 23.2 points, 8.3 assists and 7.2 rebounds against Houston in a series where the Lakers didn't have the NBA's leading scorer, Luka Dončić, due to a Grade 2 left hamstring strain. L.A. was previously without Reaves for Games 1-4 due to a Grade 2 left oblique muscle strain.
Houston was also missing superstar Kevin Durant for Game 1 (right knee contusion) and Games 3-6 (left ankle bone bruise).
Still, James' excellent efforts stood out the most in this series and were a testament to his longevity and status as arguably the greatest player in league history. Now he'll look to lead the Lakers to victory in the second round, where they face a tough matchup with the defending NBA champion Oklahoma City Thunder.
