
'NBA The Run' Release Window and Gameplay Trailer Drops for New Video Game with LeBron, More Stars
NBA The Run is coming to gaming platforms this summer.
Play Studios released a new gameplay trailer on Wednesday, along with the announcement that the new 3v3 online street basketball game will launch in June for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
The studio also released a new gameplay trailer as part of the release date announcement.

Originally announced in October, Play Studios has been dropping reveals of the various three-man teams comprised of NBA superstars playable in the game, including LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant and Cooper Flagg.
Here are all the players confirmed to be in the game, along with their designated three-man team:
- "Court Visionaries" - LeBron James, Cade Cunningham, Tyrese Haliburton
- "Green Light": Stephen Curry, Donovan Mitchell, Jalen Brunson
- "Midrange Masters": Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
- "Got Next": Cooper Flagg, Amen Thompson, Victor Wembanyama
- "Flight Club": Anthony Edwards, Ja Morant, Zion Williamson
- "Beasts in the East": Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jayson Tatum, Paolo Banchero
- "No Fly Zone" - Bam Adebayo, Scottie Barnes, Anthony Davis
- "Triple Threat MVPs" - Nikola Jokić, James Harden, Joel Embiid
There will be three different game modes at launch, including Knockout Squads, Knockout Solos and Knockout Friends.
Knockout Squads allows you to play with a group of three, you control one player and friends/other online gamers will control the other two members of the team.
Knockout Solos allows you to build your own trio and go head-to-head against other players.
Knockout Friends is a private tournament where you can link up with friends to take on the AI or go head-to-head with anyone you want to invite in. Up to 48 players can be added to a private tournament at launch.
The game will also include some of the most iconic street courts in the world, including Venice Beach and The Tenement in the Philippines.
Gamers can sign up for playtesting right now, with the first closed beta playtest on Steam set for May 1 from 3-6 p.m. ET.
