Donovan Mitchell struggled as James Harden and the Cleveland Cavaliers fell 93-89 to the Toronto Raptors, evening the series at 2-2 on the road.
Mitchell finished with 20 points on 6-of-24 percent shooting and missed a potential game-winning floater late, drawing criticism from fans on Sunday.
Harden finished with 19 points, two rebounds and eight assists but also committed seven turnovers, while the rest of the Cleveland Cavaliers starters were quiet, combining for just 18 points outside of him and Mitchell.
In their first playoff appearance since 2022, the Toronto Raptors are off to a strong start against the experienced No. 4 Cleveland Cavaliers.
Brandon Ingram and Scottie Barnes led the way with 23 points each, while RJ Barrett added 18 in the win.
The winner of the Raptors-Cavaliers series will advance to face either the No. 1 Detroit Pistons or the No. 9 Orlando Magic in the Eastern Conference semifinals, with Orlando holding a 2-1 series lead.
Game 5 between Cleveland and Toronto is set for Wednesday as the series shifts back to Cleveland.
