Towns recorded his first career postseason triple-double with 20 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists, while Brunson finished with 19 points and three assists on Saturday.

OG Anunoby continued his strong play with another 20-plus point outing, finishing with 22 points and 10 rebounds in Game 4, while Josh Hart added 10 points and nine rebounds.

The Knicks held CJ McCollum to his first sub-20-point outing of the series, limiting him to 17 points, three assists and four turnovers.

New York's biggest edge came from stopping the Hawks at the three-point line, limiting them to just 24 percent shooting, including 0-of-4 from McCollum and 0-of-6 from Jonathan Kuminga.

After winning Game 1 at home, the Knicks dropped back-to-back one-point games before bouncing back with an emphatic Game 4 win, securing the dub by 16 points and leading by as much as 24.

New York is looking to end its recent stretch of Eastern Conference semifinal exits, having fallen short twice in the past three years before reaching the Eastern Conference Finals last season, where it lost 4-2 to the Indiana Pacers.

A potential showdown with the No. 2 Boston Celtics could be next if Boston advances past the No. 7 Philadelphia 76ers, where it currently holds a 2-1 series lead.

Game 5 between Atlanta and New York is set for Tuesday as the series shifts back to New York.
