LeBron James Reacts to Historic Alley-Oop to Son Bronny on Video in Lakers' Game 3 Win vs. Rockets

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James created a lifelong memory with his son Bronny when they converted on an alley-oop in the first half of Friday's Game 3 victory over the Houston Rockets.

"He was calling for it, I've seen his steps for so long, he was gathering, and I was like, 'Just go get it!' So I'm glad he was able to go up and reverse it," James said of the first father-son playoff alley-oop, going on to call it "a special moment."

Bronny James also had a three-pointer and finished with five points in nine minutes. His legendary father led the way with 29 points, 13 rebounds, six assists and three steals as the Lakers earned a 112-108 win in overtime to take a 3-0 series lead against the Rockets.

In addition to the steady production from the James duo, the Lakers also got strong contributions from multiple veterans. Swingman Rui Hachimura added 22 points, and point guard Marcus Smart notched 21 points, 10 assists and five steals.

The Rockets were without star forward Kevin Durant, who was ruled out for the game with a sprained left ankle. Houston's young stars did their best to keep up with Los Angeles, as star center Alperen Sengun had a game-high 33 points and 16 rebounds. Amen Thompson added 26 points and 11 rebounds, and Jabari Smith Jr. had 24 points. Unfortunately, the team only had three points off the bench.

James and the Lakers will try to close out the series in Game 4 against the Rockets on Sunday night. Los Angeles hasn't completed a four-game sweep since 2010, so the team will certainly be motivated to get it done against Houston.
