SGA, Thunder Take 2-0 Series Lead vs. Devin Booker, Suns as NBA Fans React to Game 2 Playoff Win

The Oklahoma City Thunder are in full control of their first-round series against the Phoenix Suns after a strong Game 2 victory.

The Thunder downed the Suns 120-107 on Wednesday, marking another win over Phoenix by double digits. The series now heads to Phoenix, where the Suns will look to avoid a dreaded 3-0 deficit.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had a rough start to the series on Sunday when he shot a lackluster 5-of-18 from the field, but he managed to respond well on Wednesday. The reigning MVP posted a game-high 37 points on 13-of-25 from the field, adding nine assists and seven rebounds.

His co-star, Jalen Wiliams, added 19 points, but exited early because of a hamstring injury. Defensive Player of the Year runner-up Chet Holmgren had 19 points, eight boards and four blocks.

It's easy for No. 1 seeds to relax a little bit too much in their first-round matchups, but that hasn't been the case for OKC so far. The Thunder received high praise on social media following another convincing win.

Phoenix got a strong showing from Dillon Brooks, who had 30, but Devin Booker and the Suns' role players struggled a bit. If the Suns have any hope of upsetting the Thunder, they'll need everyone at the top of their game.

Unfortunately for OKC, it has a major question mark heading into Game 3 with Williams suffering an injury.
